Chattanooga Aquarium

John and Nancy (my in-laws) both have birthdays the first week October. Our original plan was to go to Jacksonville and celebrate with them and the rest of the family. However, they were traveling to Chattanooga that weekend to celebrate with each other, so our plans changed. It just so happens that Chattanooga is the "halfway" point of Nashville and Jacksonville, so we met them for lunch and set some time with them. After lunch we headed to the aquarium...we couldn't go all the way there and not go! Surprisingly it was Chase's idea...he occasionally surprises me!
Butterfly garden...LOTS of butterflies everywhere!!

Aren't they the cutest?!?!

Posing with the penguins...I think they were my favorite!

My loves checking out the shark!

Sorry for the flash! Those crabs were HUGE!

The river is behind and below us...it was a cool overview but it didn't show up in the picture.

STUD!!

Daddy was the mode of transportation most of the time.

Two handsome boys!

Glad we went and got in some much needed family time! Life is about to get quite hectic...wait, has it really slowed down?!?!
