19 Months!!!

I say it every time but...Has it really been 19 months...she's growing up WAY too fast!!

-Height: 33 inches...i think...that's two inches in a month...is that possible?!
-Weight: 25lbs
-She has started speaking in sentences which is really throwing me off. She will tell you what she wants "Mommy I want..." and "Mommy I want more..." It's crazy how quickly this is going.
-Still LOVES to be outside and since the weather has been so nice we've been out there as much as possible.
-She's getting better about not being so jealous when I'm holding another baby. This is a good sign she's "ready" for a sibling...now if we could just get mommy on board! Ha!
-She will read us books now.
-Actually talks on the phone now when someone is on the other end. She use to just hold the phone but now she will have a conversation with you. What she says...your guess is as good as mine!! :) It's still pretty cute.
-I still refuse to cut her hair. I can even get it in a small ponytail now...I'm not touching it!
-We seem to have backtracked on the paci. I thought we were on our way to not using it but no one tells you that the "terrible twos" actually start LONG before they're two!! The paci keeps us both sane right now!
-I have GOT to buy her a potty. She will say "mommy I want to tee-tee" So I put her up on the big potty and she pretends to go so she can use the toilet paper. Ha! At least she gets the concept.

We love you Emory SO VERY much! You make us so happy each and every day!

One Beautiful Fall Day

Chase decided that Emory needed to learn a few things today so he "showed" her how to ride a skate board and then got her on his bike. She was all about it until he cranked it up...then it was a little loud for her! It's hard to believe with this 70 degree weather we're having that's it's actually November and a week and a half away from Thanksgiving! I LOVE Fall!!

Growing up!!

She did all this by herself. She put the bib on the baby, placed her in the highchair, got a spoon and bowl, and then asked to be put up in the big girl chair. I think I've got my hands full!!

Disney on Ice

Before the show started.

Cole and Payton.

Watching the first act.

The Disney Princesses.

I warned him I was going to post this! :)

Whole Disney Crew.

Beauty and the Beast...by far my favorite Disney movie. I took a good many more pictures of them but I won't bore you!

Katie and her $12 snow cone! Nothing comes cheap with Disney!

She wasn't thrilled about the crown with ears being on her head!

Payton didn't seem to mind.

Payton kept rubbing his nose in Papa's beard and giggling,

Yes we went with two toddlers...and they did great. They did get a little restless towards the end but overall they seemed to enjoy it. Em would wave at every new character that would come on the ice and then turn around and make sure you were paying attention too! So cute!

UAB Homecoming 2009

WE WON!!! Yea! So to have started the season expecting to be last in the conference, I would say 4-2 in the conference isn't too bad!! Again we had a great time hanging out with our friends and family. The weather was prefect and the company even better. I love football season and I can't believe it's almost over. Only one more home game to go. :(

Em cruisin' around the tailgate on daddy's shoulders. (She's saying "cheese")

The mommies and the babies! (Katie's little one, Claire, had already left for the day so she was Karmie's baby)!

Em and Papa in the box.

It took forever to get this picture. She was much more interested in the things around her than mommy taking another picture!

Of course Katie and I had to have a picture together!

Later that evening Chase and I had the opportunity to join a few of our friends at the Barking Kudu...Thanks to Nita and Papa watching Em for us!!

Luke and me at the Kudu...God Bless him...he listened to me talk about Emory!! :)

Happy Halloween!!

Emory's costume changed three times before we actually found the final one. At first she was going to be a 50s girl and wear a poodle skirt, but I couldn't find a pattern small enough for her and I am not talented enough to tweek it to fit her. The second idea was a pink lady because all I had to find for that was a pink jacket and put "pink lady" on the back. Chase said that basically I was being cheap to find her a real costume. So, yesterday morning, Emory and I braved the Halloween Express on the day of Halloween to find her a costume. Much to my surprise it wasn't that crazy and we ended up finding a Pirate Princess costume for less than I expected. She was so cute and actually let us put the hat on her!

Chillin' on the steps with the pumpkins before heading out to trick-or-treat.

She cried every time we left a house. Chase had to remind her there was candy at the next house too!

Trying to decide which piece of candy she wanted next.

Eating our Tootsie Roll Pops!

Chase was very proud of his pumpkins. He worked VERY hard on them!

I hope everyone had a safe and happy Halloween!
