A few weekends back...

We made the rounds...the original plan was for us to drive to Birmingham Friday evening, go to half the UAB homecoming game on Saturday, then drive to Jacksonville after the game to celebrate John and Nancy's birthdays. Well that's not exactly what happen...due to a miscommunication, Chase and I divided and conquered the families. I went to the game with the kids and spent time with my family and Chase went to Jacksonville that morning to spend time with his family. 

 Since it was homecoming, AOII had an alumni tailgate...Katie and I attended for the first time together as alumni...that will make you feel old!

At halftime, the kids and I drove to Jacksonville to be with Chase and the rest of the Martin Family. We met at Haley and Shawn's house to eat dinner and celebrate John and Nancy's birthdays. It was nice to hang out and introduce Gavin to Haley and Shawn and their kids.
