Sports Saturday

All decked out in her UAB gear...she even had UAB socks...those didn't last long!

Watching the game with Janet.

She FINALLY let Lee hold her.

and Jordan.

Walking to the Preds game with Daddy.

Waiting on the game to start.

We WON!! 4-3 in overtime! Family pic after the game.

Walking back to the car...she loves to ride on Chase's shoulders!

Today was a fairly busy day for Emory. This morning Emory and I headed out to Franklin to watch Jordan play volleyball and to visit with Janet and Lee. (Chase went fishing with the guys) Emory really enjoyed watching the matches. She has been going through a HUGE mommy phase recently, but she finally warmed up to Janet and Lee after the second match and let them hold her...thank goodness...my arms were getting tired! :) After lunch we headed back home. Em tried to fall asleep in her new car seat...didn't go so well. Every time she would be good and asleep, her head would fall forward and she would wake up and get mad. Poor thing. I felt so sorry for her! Of course when we got home she only played in her crib when I laid her down for a nap!

Tonight we were invited to go to a Predators game. For those of you who don't know who they are, they are the National Hockey League team we have here in Nashville. Another plus to Nashville...sorry Birmingham friends but it's true, we have an NFL team and an NHL team...anyway. The game started at 5 tonight instead of 7 (which I will explain later). It was kinda nice for us since we have Emory. The tickets were in the all inclusive section...now that is the way to watch a game...free food, free beer, and better seats. We had a great time at our first Preds game. Emory made the jumbotron 3 times!! I came home to a message on Facebook that said "ummm...i think i just saw Emory on the jumbotron!" She was just so cute they couldn't stay away from her! haha!

Emory did great all day considering all she had was a 30 minute nap in the car. I love Saturdays!

Oh and the reason the game started so early was something about an "Earth Hour." Downtown Nashville participated in the 60 minutes of no power tonight from 8:30pm until 9:30pm. They had a free concert from Jo Dee Mecina and then turned all the power off in downtown for 60 minutes. We didn't stick around for that. You never know how that might turn out!
