Christmas Part 1

Growing up, Christmas morning was always at our house. That was something that I wanted to continue with our family as well. While it is slightly more challenging since we live out of town, it is something we have stuck with! Christmas Eve we spent at home during the day and then went to church at Gateway that evening. We actually "went" to church at The Bridge Fellowship via the internet. It was great listening to Josh and the band sing and see Phil preach.

Emory and Riley were both up on Christmas morning by 7:30. Gavin on the other hand had to be woken up...

Poor buddy wasn't quite ready to wake up!
Once he saw want Santa brought, he woke up quite a bit!!

Hello Santa loot!

Emory got a digital clock for her room. Along with many other things...

Gavin's favorite toy was his new grill! He immediately started cooking for all of us. Nothing like hamburgers and hotdogs for breakfast! :)

She might be pooping in this picture. :/

His "piderman" shoes were a close second!

Riley's very own play table. Poor third child hardly has anything to call her "own"

Such a sweet baby girl!

He was a very happy boy. He did crash on the 9 hour drive to Birmingham!

She was a happy girl. She got all she asked for and then some!

Modeling her new boots from mommy and daddy! Don't they look great with her penguin pajamas?!
My husband is a great one and clever at that! I had a huge gift under the tree that he and the kids wrapped all by themselves...

I love surprises so I didn't try to shake the box or anything once it was under the tree.
Emory was very excited about me opening this gift which definitely peaked my curiosity! Once it was my turn I set out to open my mystery gift.

What I found was a box inside a box...

And then yet another box...
So what was inside that giant box you ask?! The best gift...a gift card for a massage, pedicure, and a manicure!! Looking forward to cashing in on that "me day"!

We had a great Christmas morning at home. While the kids played with all their new toys we packed up the rest of our stuff and Chase loaded the car for our long drive to Alabama. Onto the 3 part family Christmas!!
