We were engaged for 8 1/2 months and have now been married for almost three years. We married May 28, 2005 at The Church in the Pines in Alexander City, on Lake Martin. The ceremony was beautiful and personal, exactly what we wanted. The reception was at my grandparents lake house, which sadly they have sold! :( And then it was off to Jamaica!
We lived in a townhouse in Cahaba Heights, then bought a house in McCalla the following December. We lived there for a year and then things changed with Chase's job situation and we decided to try something different. In January 2007 we moved to Nashville, TN and have loved it so far.
Nashville has been great to us. We both started new jobs, Chase works for Shelter Distribution...it might be called Best Distributing now. Anyway, he is in the management trainee program there. They sell roofing and siding...I don't know all the details, I just know he works A LOT. I took a job at Vanderbilt Children's Hospital and love it, except for the nights part, but that is about to change.
Though it was hard at first to move away from family and friends. We are having a great time and actually get back to Birmingham more than we thought. We can't miss UAB football!! :)
