Two weekends ago my mom and grandmother made the long drive to North Carolina to visit with us for a few days. It was so nice having them in or home and having family close, even if it was for a short time.
My children were thrilled to have their Nita in town to show off their swimming skills at the club, show them their schools, and play with their toys in their new playroom. The last time my parents came to visit, we had not yet closed on our house. They were still able to come by and see it but they had yet to see it with our stuff in it.

Their visit was short but I was so happy to have them in town! Can't wait for the next visit! It really stinks living this far away from family!!
