The Deck Project

Back in March, Chase and a few of our wonderful friends, demo-ed the deck. This is was what we started with but imagine it with a privacy fence all the way around--I forgot to take a before picture. We have this big back yard but couldn't enjoy watching Emory play because, well, you couldn't see the yard unless you were sitting on the stairs-not very relaxing!

The finished project is SOOO much better than what we had before. All we need now is an umbrella for the table to cast some shade back there. Luckily the new deck was done before this horrible summer heat hit and we were able to enjoy some time on the finished project. The original plan was to have people over all summer but the scorching heat put a stop to that.  Guess we will have to have people over in the fall.
