Friday was lunch with Garrett...I think she thought he might take her bread! (see earlier post)

Garrett was suppose to be eating lunch. Really he was just trying to make things difficult for his mommy!! Hard to feed a moving target!

It was a monkey theme...so the birthday boy even had a banana shaped cake!! Too cute!

The idea was to get a picture of all the babies but the walkers wouldn't cooperate and as you can see, Emory was a little upset.

Saturday, Emory was invited to 2 first birthday parties. The first one was at 11am (during our first nap time of the day). It was for her little boyfriend Owen. She was the only girl at the party and had her pick of boys! We tried to take a picture of all the moms and babies, but I don't think we thought it through. It was very difficult to get everyone ready at the same time. Believe it or not the picture I posted was the best of all the ones Chase took. Sorry it isn't centered (we know how wonderful of a picture taker Chase is, hehe :) ). The second party was at 2 (during the second nap time of the day). Emory passed out in her carseat between parties but was a trooper through the second party. Overall she had a wonderfully busy day and took a two and a half hour nap when we got home...at 5:30pm. I guess she was still exhausted because she slept until 10 this morning!!! Such a good sleeper...she gets that from her daddy!!
