They Grow Up So Fast

 

Did this really happen?!?! Did my baby girl REALLY "graduate" from pre-K?!?! I swear she was just born yesterday! She keeps saying..."Don't cry mommy! I have to grow up because I have to get married!" Ha! Honestly, I don't see myself crying. Maybe if she wasn't so darn excited about starting kindergarten and ready to go tomorrow, I might shed a tear or two, but really I'm fine! But...that being said I can't believe she is already old enough to go to big kid school!

For the past "school year" Emory has been attending the parents day out program at New Hope Baptist Church. It is about 6 minutes from our house and a great program. Emory LOVED going which was a huge change to our former daycare. Not that they didn't take care of her, but almost every time I would drop her off, she would cry...not cool...talk about tugging on mommy's heart strings! Emory teared up the very first day she went but by the time 2 o'clock rolled around, I had to make her leave!

This past Thursday was her graduation ceremony. Cap and gown and all! It was so cute. My brother happened to be in town and was able to go with us. I think Emory was more excited about him being there than me and Chase!
